As we wrap up the final week for Tony Award eligibility, Anastasia opened on Broadway yesterday, April 24th. The Gypsy Robe was passed on to Shina Ann Morris for this show. It’s is Shina’s seventh Broadway show. You may have seen her previously in West Side Story, Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Annie, Cinderella and Holiday Inn.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opened last night, April 23rd starring Christian Borle as Willy Wonka. Congratulations to Katie Webber who took home the Gypsy Robe for her seventh Broadway show. She was previously seen in Honeymoon in Vegas, Catch Me if You Can, Memphis, Rock of Ages, Jersey Boys and Wicked.
Hello Dolly opened last night!
Hello Dolly officially opened on Broadway last night starring Bette Midler! The Gypsy robe was won by Jen Foote. This is Jen’s 11th Broadway show! She is a true triple threat and such an asset to any company she is in. You may have previously seen her in Holiday Inn, She Loves Me, On the Twentieth Century, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Follies, Rock of Ages, A Chorus Line, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Dracula, and Annie Get Your Gun.

Well, Groundhog Day marks the most recent opening on Broadway, today April 17th. Congratulations to Joseph Medeiros for winning the Gypsy Robe. This is his eighth Broadway show. Amélie, starring Phillipa Soo, opened on Broadway last night, April 3rd, at the Walter Kerr Theater. Manoel Felciano received the Gypsy Robe. This is his sixth Broadway production. You may have previously seen him in Disaster!, Sweeney Todd, Brooklyn, Jesus Christ Superstar or Cabaret.
Catherine Ricafort wins the Gypsy Robe for Miss Saigon!
Congratulations to Gypsy Robe winner Catherine Ricafort who won the Gypsy Robe for the revival of Miss Saigon last night. This is her seventh Broadway show. Previously, she was seen in Mamma Mia!, Cinderella, Honeymoon in Vegas, Allegiance, Disaster!, and Holiday Inn.
